Burna Boy (Damini Ogulu) is a Nigerian afrobeat, reggae, and dancehall singer and composer who was born on July 2, 1991 in Ahoada, River State.

Burna Boy completed his basic education at Montessori International School before moving to Lagos to complete his secondary education at Corona, Agbara Lagos. After completing his secondary education, Burna Boy fled to the United Kingdom to further his studies, which he did.

The celebrity was inspired by music by his grandfather, Benson Idons, who was the manager of Fela Kuti. The celebrity returned to Nigeria from London in late November 2010 and began a professional music career.

His music first entered the Nigerian music market in June 2012, with the release of the song “Like to Party.” On September 5, 2012, the video for “Like to Party” was released, shot by Squareball Media Services. Later that month, the star released a single titled “Tonight.”

Spaceship Entertainment represents the mega star of the moment. Burna Boy was able to release two hot mix tapes in 2011, “Burn Notice” in April and “Burn Identity” in November.

Burna Boy released a single titled “Tonight” on September 24, 2012. Later in the year, he released a song video, which was well received.

Before the massive smash, the celebrity had a couple of popular singles, including “trumpet” with Davido and “Abeg Abeg Abeg.” Adasa directed an outstanding video for “enjoy to party.”

On 2013, the super star landed a multi-million naira endorsement agreement with Nigerian telecommunications behemoth Globacom, and became the brand ambassador for Martell Cogna. Check out Burna Boy
