Olanrewaju Ogunmefun, better known by his stage name Vector tha Viper, is a Nigerian hip hop artist who has released two studio albums, his debut “State of Surprise (SOS)” and his second album “Vector tha Viper.”
Lanre was the fourth of five children born in Ogun State. He went to Command Children’s School, Ijebu-ode Grammar School, Government College Victoria Island, and Saint Gregory’s College in Nigeria for his education.
In the year 1994, he began his hip hop career as a junior in high school. At St. Gregory’s College, to be precise.
Vector is largely regarded as one of Nigeria’s top rappers from the mainland.
Vector’s hip hop career began in junior high in 1997, when he was actively involved in social events and entertained his friends from the stage as a young rapper.
He established the ensemble “Badder Boiz” in 1999. They were so committed to hip hop that they began writing their own songs in the same year.
They began performing at showcases, combining their diverse talents in order to sell the underground sound to the general public. In 1999, they recorded their first demo series.
G.R.A.P. has officially signed Vector. In February 2010, Vector released his first official song, “Kilode,” featuring yungkhida, from his album “State of surprise.”
