Forbes and his two pals, Vice Versa and Greyhound started a rap trio in 2002 and called themselves Entity. For their efforts, the band was recognized with a nomination for the KORA Awards in the Best African Hip Hop category. As a result of the group’s dissolution in 2006, Forbes decided to pursue training in the field of audio engineering.

Forbes’s first song, “I Want It All,” was released on July 28, 2010, on his debut studio album, Altar Ego. Two singles, “All I Know” and “Victory Lap,” were released in advance of the album. South African radio stations played “Victory Lap,” and it quickly became a hit. Later, on August 23rd, 2011, Alter Ego was made available to the public. Due to the album’s commercial success, RiSA has awarded it with a gold certification.

As of June 30, 2014, Forbes had released Levels, his second studio album. To promote the album, four singles were released: “Jealousy,” “Kontrol” (with Da L.E.S. ), “Congratulate,” and “Run Jozi (Godly),” which features KO and Yanga. RiSA certified the album as platinum in 2014 and as double platinum in 2018.
