Bishop David Oginde Biography
David Oginde is a Christian leader in Kenya, as well as a preacher and an author. Kisii County, Kenya was the location of his birth on December 24th, 1961. Christ is the Answer Ministries (CITAM), which is located in Nairobi and is one of the most populous and rapidly expanding churches in Kenya, is led by Oginde, who serves as the senior pastor there.
In 1985, Oginde graduated with a Bachelor of Education from Kenyatta University. He went on to get a Master of Divinity degree from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Illinois, which is located in the United States. In addition to this, he was awarded a Doctor of Ministry degree from the Nairobi Evangelical Graduate School of Theology (NEGST).
Oginde’s ministry has always been marked by a dedication to both the teaching of the Bible and the work of evangelism. He is an accomplished preacher who is driven by a deep desire to communicate the message of the gospel to people from all walks of life. Because of his leadership, CITAM has seen substantial growth over the last several years, and the church today counts more than 15,000 people across numerous sites in Kenya.
In addition to his work as a pastor, Oginde is also a published author. Among his works are “Fruitful Discipleship,” “Making a Difference,” and “Transformed Life,” among others. His sermons and teachings are followed and listened to by a large number of people not just in Kenya but even outside the country’s borders. He is a frequent contributor to a number of Christian periodicals.
In addition to this, Oginde has been active in the Christian community in Kenya, serving in a variety of leadership capacities. He has previously held the position of Chairman of the Evangelical Alliance of Kenya, of which he is a member. In addition to that, he has served on the boards of directors of a number of Christian organizations and is now very engaged in a number of programs that are designed to foster social change, peace, and justice in Kenya.
Esther Oginde is David Oginde’s wife, and the couple has three children together. David and Esther Oginde are married. He is revered for his lowliness, his devotion to God, and his dedication to serve the people in his town. He is a well-respected Christian leader in Kenya, and he has been honored for the contributions that he has made to the Christian community as well as to society in general.
