Bolaji Ojudokan, a Nigerian singer, goes by the stage name Boj. Boj rose to prominence as a member of the DRB band, which he met while attending college in Worcestershire.

His music was impacted by his mother’s taste, which ranged from Lagbaja and Fela to Lauryn Hill, Wyclef, and Bob Marley, and he was an only child for over a decade.

Boj studied Audio Engineering and is known for having a sound that is distinct from conventional music. He’s commonly likened to Ajebutter 22 and Falz, both of whom he’s worked with, with the comparison based on a distinct sound as well as a privilege background.

In 2013, Boj launched the #BOTM (Boj on the Microphone) mictape, which was a hit. He’s collaborated with Davido, Reminisce, Show Dem Camp, and Olamide, among others.
