Anambra State’s former Governor, Willie Obiano has been arrested at the Murtala Muhammad International Airport Lagos by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
This happened on Thursday evening after the former Governor handed over power to his successor, Chukwuma Charles Soludo.

This was revealed by Channel TV when they reported that Obiano, who has been on the Commission’s watchlist, was arrested at about 8.30 pm.
He was reportedly on his way out of the country to Houston, Texas in the United States.
Obiano’s arrest comes hours after his wife received a hot slap at his successor, Charles Soludo’s inauguration.
