Breaking News: Manchester United beat Liverpool in the Premier League for the first time since 2018

Manchester United has secured their first 2022/2023 EPL victory with a three points step up in the Premier League table as they thrashed Liverpool with a 2 -1 Victory.

Erik ten Hag bagged his first win as Manchester United manager after his warriors beat Liverpool in the Premier League for the first time since 2018.

The Red Devils who had overcome Liverpool during the EPL pre-season had their first win of the season to move above the Reds on the league table on Monday, 22nd August 2022.

The competition was held at Old Trafford where Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford’s goals power Manchester United to its first victory for the 2022/2023 Premier League season.

A late Mohamed Salah goal reopened proceedings, with the fans at Old Trafford forced to watch the final minutes in some discomfort. In the end it proved too little too late for the Reds, who remain winless on the season.
