BREAKING: PDP officially announces actress, Funke Akindele as Lagos State Gubernatorial running mate

People’s Democratic Party gubernatorial flag bearer of Lagos State, Dr. Olajide Adediran, popularly called Jandor, has officially announced Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele, as running mate for the forthcoming 2023 election.

TrendyHipHop had reported that the thespian was listed among five names released as the potential running mates of the party’s governorship candidate, Alhaji Abdulaziz Olajide Adediran popularly known as Jandor.

Akindele, from the Ikorodu division, was said to be on top of the list which comprises the other four names as the potential running mate of the party’s governorship candidate, Jandor.

Two of the shortlisted candidates – Rhodes-Vivour and Kolawole – are from Lagos West, the same senatorial district as Jandor, hence, negatively affecting reducing their chances.
