BREAKING: Police use tear gas on protesters in Lagos, arresting a several of them [PHOTOS]

In Ojota, Lagos, officers from the Lagos State Police Command shot tear gas at peaceful protesters on June 12.

The demonstrators promptly took to their heels as the fierce-looking cops neared, spraying tear gas canisters at them, according to photographs given to POLITICS NIGERIA.
At the famed Gani Fawehinmi Park, some protesters were also arrested.
