Brymo

Born in Lagos in 1986, Ashimi Olawale “Brymo” is the sole child of a carpenter father and a petty trader mother.

He was born and reared in the Lagos suburb of okokomaiko. And, like most ghetto kids, he grew up in a community where opportunities were scarce, but his parents made sure that, despite the challenges, he had a decent education and a nice upbringing.

He went at okokomaiko, Lagos’ Aganju aka primary school. 1990-1997 From 1997 until 2003, he attended Ajangbadi High School. Olawale was accepted into Lagos State University to study biology in 2007.

Olawale wrote his first chorus at the age of 14 in 1999. In 2002, he joined forces with three other pals to form the band ALIENS.

As a member of the ensemble, Brymo performed a crucial role, writing and composing songs. He wrote around 85 songs during the course of two years. In 2005, the group disbanded due to the need for certain members to return to school. Check out Brymo’s Songs, Videos and Albums below!
