Did Hilda Baci break the world record? See Full Details

Hilda Effiong Bassey, better known by the nickname Hilda Baci, is a Nigerian chef who just broke the Guinness World Record for the “longest cooking marathon by an individual.”

The cook broke the previous record of 87 hours and 45 minutes set by Lata Tandon, who holds the Guinness World Record for this accomplishment.

On Thursday, at precisely 4:00 p.m., Hilda began to take on the other competitors by turning on her stoves.

The restaurateur keeps going despite the fact that she has already smashed the record. Her goal is to cook for 96 hours, becoming the first human on the planet to spend such a significant amount of time cooking, which would set a new world record.

In recent days, Hilda has been showered with support from various influential Nigerians, including politicians, celebrities, priests, and regular citizens.

This is despite the fact that Nigerians stood by her during a torrential downpour in the early hours of Monday morning.

On April 2nd, Hilda stated in an Instagram post that she was going to make a desire that she’s had for the past five years become a reality.

She disclosed that she plans to cook for a total of four days and four nights in an attempt to beat the record set by Tandon in 2019, which was set in India.

The Guinness World Record organization has not yet decided whether or not to recognize Hilda’s most recent accomplishment because they have stated that they need to investigate the facts first.
