Flavour is an Enugu State native whose family hails from Umunze in Anambra State’s Orumba South LGA. Flavour is the firstborn child in a huge family that includes four biological siblings and seven step-siblings.

Flavour began his musical career at the age of 13 when he joined his church choir in Enugu and began playing the drums.

Chris I Ordor, the CEO of SoundCity Communications, was introduced to him by the resident pastor of his church.

Mr. Ordor had recently launched a musical enterprise with the goal of teaching young artists the fundamentals of music and nurturing them all the way to professional status.

Flavour was invited to join the company on a scholarship to study music in 1996.

Flavour began playing the drums professionally after three years of playing.

Flavour stopped playing the drums and began playing the keyboard in 1999.

At SoundCity, he also used to offer backing vocals for other musicians.

Flavour began his career as a drummer and keyboardist for a local Enugu band when he was 19 years old.

Flavour received an offer to perform at City Centre, Enugu, after learning to play the drums professionally.

The large throng in City Centre motivated him to break new ground and achieve new heights.

Because of his musical education, Flavour was able to learn music production from Dekumzy, Isi Charles, and Nnachie.

Flavour is the firstborn child in a huge family that includes four biological siblings and seven step-siblings.

Flavour’s family was not supportive of his musical dreams, dismissing them as a pipe dream.
