Otaniyen-uwa The Nigerian producer and composer Daniel, better known by his stage name Killertunes, was born and raised in the Nigerian state of Edo and raised in the music industry. According to him, he grew up during a period in which cultism was prevalent in Edo.
He also admitted that he (along with his friends) was a nerdy person. While in secondary school, he developed an interest in music production, and in 2015, he made the difficult decision to relocate to Lagos, Nigeria, the entertainment capital of the world, in order to pursue his professional development. Killertunes has risen to the top of the game in a short period of time, only four years. It should come as no surprise that practically every artist wishes to collaborate with him. He’s a veritable goldmine when it comes to beats.

He is well-known as an artist with a strong interest in drawing and any other relevant field of art. Because of his appearance, Killertunes is frequently misidentified as a Hausa man. He made many sacrifices in order to succeed, and in the blink of an eye, he has amassed a collection of instruments that he has dubbed ‘killertools.’

As a result of his consistent work over the years, he has established himself as one of the most sought-after producers in Africa, having produced hit after hit beat for top-tier and up-and-coming musicians (Wizkid, Kiss Daniel, Phyno, Eazi, Skales, DJ Spinal, Major Later, DJ Cuppy just to mention a few).
