Mr Real, whose real name is Okafor Uchenna Victor, is a Nigerian singer and entertainer who was born and raised in Lagos. Mr Real was born in the late 1990s in Lagos, but he is actually from Anambra State in Nigeria’s eastern region.

With his unmistakable 2017 street-hop song, “Legbegbe,” Nigerian rapper Mr Real rocketed to stardom. He quickly got a major-label deal and a productive series of follow-up tracks and collaborations with bands like CDQ and Slimcase, thanks to a smash song and appearances on prominent cuts by D’banj and Jaywon.

Mr Real developed a gritty, rhythmic street-hop style and was a part of the Plantashun Boiz rap group, which included Faze and 2Face Idibia at one point.

He’s been active since the mid-2000s, and he got his start working on tracks with artists like Klever Jay, Seriki, and Terry G.

His breakthrough came in 2017 with the release of “Legbegbe,” a street song that dominated charts across the country and included a hooky chant that mentioned iPhones 1-8.

Real received a nomination for Best Rap Artist at the 2018 Headies and won the Nigeria Entertainment Award for Hottest Single of the Year.

A label deal with Sony followed, as did appearances on tunes by DJ Neptune, Jaywon, and DJ Lambo. With songs like 2019’s “Onigbese” and the 2020 Tplan collaboration “Falipupa,” he proceeded to establish himself. Check out Mr Real’s Songs, Videos and Albums below!
