NIN: MTN apologizes after they barred Over 72.77 million active telecommunication subscribers from making calls.

There was a massive Economic, Educational, Physical, spiritual, and financial quagmire in Nigeria as several subscribers were barred from making calls by their telecommunication network providers.

The affected customers have cried out for their mind-blowing losses which affected them much on Tuesday, they unleashed how they lost millions.

This is just after Over 72.77 million active telecommunication subscribers were barred from making calls on their SIMs, following a directive from the Federal Government to telecommunication companies.

Reacting to this, some customers called out MTN for restricting their lines despite having linked them with their National Identification Numbers.

In response, MTN apologized to the customers affected, stating that the order was a directive from the Federal Government. It, in turn, asked those who claimed their lines were barred despite linking them with their NINs to send in their numbers for rectification.

“Y’ello. We apologize for any inconvenience caused you. The communication to implement restrictions on outgoing calls for customers who have not linked their National Identification Number (NIN) to their SIM is a directive from the Federal Government. ~AO,”
