Omah Lay is the stage name of Stanley Omah Didia (born May 19, 1997), a Nigerian singer who is most known for his music. In April 2019, he released “Do Not Disturb,” a self-made first single that he produced himself.
At the 2020 Headies Awards, he was awarded the Next Rated award.
Omah Lay is from the town of Ikwerre in the state of Rivers.
He attended Comprehensive High School in Rivers State before going on to study at the University of Port Harcourt in Port Harcourt.
Omah Lay hails from a musical family; his grandfather, who died in 1977, used to play instruments for the singer Celestine Ukwu. Omah Lay’s father is also a musician.
