Jason Gaisie, better known by his stage name Pappy Kojo, is a Ghanaian hip hop and hiplife recording musician from Takoradi. He was born on February 13, 1989. His smash tune “Realer No” made him famous.

Jason Gaisie was born to Kofi Badu and Rosemond Gaisie on February 13, 1989.

He was born and raised in Ghana’s Western Region, in the town of Takoradi. He went to Ridge International School till 2004, after which he returned to Italy to be with his mother.

Pappy Kojo exhibited an early interest in and appreciation for music. He performed in locally organized rap performances, rapping to Obrafour, Tic Tac, Reggie Rockstone, and Lord Kenya, among others.

Obrafour, The Shady Aftermath Camp, and Michael Jackson are among his main musical influences.

His enthusiasm for rap music got even stronger after he moved to Italy in 2004. He started covering popular songs and uploading them to YouTube.

He began recording his own stuff with Italian and Ghanaian music producers around the same period.
