Simi, a Nigerian singer-songwriter, has released a brand new single named “Iya Ni Wura,” which is the second installment of her African Lullabies album.
The new record “Iya Ni Wura” is a wonderful piece of music for children that has a calming impact on the listener. It serves as a complementary track to her newly released single “Sare.”
Some of Africa’s most prominent stars from West, South and East Africa have collaborated to produce a special calming bedtime experience to commemorate their heritage with Platoon’s African Lullabies compilation, which was inspired by their childhood sounds.
In English, the phrase “Iya Ni Wura” translates as “Mother Is Gold.”
