Simisola Bolatito Kosoko (née Ogunleye; born April 19, 1988) is a Nigerian singer, composer, and actress best known by her stage name Simi. She was born in Lagos, Nigeria, and has performed internationally. [1][2] She began her professional singing career as a gospel singer, and her first studio album, titled Ogaju, was released in 2008.

It was in 2014 that she rose to fame, thanks to the release of “Tiff,” a song that was nominated for Best Alternative Song at The Headies 2015.

Following the expiration of her recording contract with X3M Music in 2014, Simi parted ways with the company in May of this year.

Simisola, her second studio album, was released on September 8, 2017, and is her first to have a female lead.

She celebrated her thirty-first birthday on April 19, 2019, with the release of her third studio album Omo Charlie Champagne, Vol. 1, which was published to coincide with her birthday.
