Sugarboy, born Umoren AKanimoh Felix (Oscar Jnr) on April 15, 1992, is a Nigerian reggae-dancehall and Afrobeat singer and composer.


He was signed to a partnership deal with RundaTrax and Wahala Media Entertainment, and released singles like as “Swagger Man Dope” and other underground singles.

He first became friends with the G-Worldwide family in 2012, but it wasn’t until 2015 that he was formally signed to G-Worldwide Entertainment.

Sugarboy’s real name is Umoren Akanimoh Felix, and he was born in Uyo, AkwaIbom State. He was born and raised in the Ikono local government region.


Growing up in the areas of Ajegunle, Lagos State (western Nigeria), and SuTown, Suleja State (Nigeria) (northern Nigeria).

He opted to pursue music as a carrier while studying at the University of Port Harcourt. He is the first of three children born to ibibio parents from the southern part of Nigeria.

Sugarboy was 14 years old when he first expressed an interest in music. His father, who owned all of the hit tunes and albums from the late 1970s and 1980s, encouraged him.
