Tope Alabi, better known as Ore ti o common and Agbo Jesu, is a Nigerian gospel minister, singer, film music composer, and actor. She was born in Lagos State, Nigeria, on October 27, 1970.


Pa Joseph Akinyele Obayomi and Madam Agnes Kehinde Obayomi are her parents. She is the only girl out of her parents’ three children.

In 1986, Tope Alabi graduated from Oba Akinyele Memorial High School in Bashorun Anlugbua, Ibadan, with a West African School Certificate (WASC). She subsequently went on to study Mass Communication at The Polythecnic in Ibadan, where she graduated in 1990.

She used to be a member of the comic troupe Jesters International. She went on to collaborate with other well-known traveling and stage theater companies in Ibadan and Lagos. She worked in the Nigerian Yoruba film genre. After becoming a born-again Christian, Alabi transitioned towards gospel music.
