Victor Adere, often known as Victor AD, is a Nigerian singer-songwriter and musician from Warri, Delta State. He was born and reared in the state of Lagos.
Before relocating to Warri, Delta State, he and his family lived there for eight years. He began composing his own song at the tender age of six, after being inspired by his Lagos neighbor.
His preferred musical style is Afropop. Victor AD is an Electrical Engineering graduate of Edo State’s renowned Auchi Polytechnic. In the 2013/2014 polytechnic session, the artist who began as a rapper won the prize for best singer.
When rap didn’t work out for him, he joined a live band that sang versions of western classics. He began his musical career when he was just six years old. He mentioned Bob Marley, Michael Jackson, Lucky Dube, and King Sunny Ade as musical legends. Wizkid is another artist he admires.
Victor began his professional music career in 2014 with the release of “Jowo,” his first official single. CoolBoyBeatz was in charge of the song’s production. He formerly led a music band in Delta State and was named best artist at an Auchi Polytechnic music competition.
