As Victor AD, one of his stage names, Victor Adere, he’s becoming a leading player in the Afropop scene. Victor Eugenie Adere was born in the Lagos State town of Kirikiri, despite his family’s Delta state origins.

Ekpan Secondary School in Warri and Heritage International School in Lagos were on his educational path. At age six, the future star announced his want to become a musician. As he listened to more and more musicians like Bob Marley, Sunny Ade, Michael Jackson, and Lucky Dube, he was inspired to create his music.
