“Why I don’t reveal the Identity of my children” – Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele

Nollywood Actress, Akindele-Bello Olufunke Ayotunde Funke Akindele who is professionally known as Funke Akindele has confessed why she kept the Identity of her children confidential.

Instablog reported that she unleashed this during an interview with a Nigerian blogger, Jude Okonjo where she said she won’t reveal the faces of her children because she wants them to enjoy their lives away from the prying eyes of the public.

During the interview, the film producer said, she and her husband were already public faces, adding that the decision to keep the identities of her children hidden was to keep them safe.

In her words, she said:

“Don’t you see my home? Don’t you see my husband? Don’t you see the back of my children? How is that one private? The children’s faces are that what you are trying to say? No.

when they are old enough, they should show their faces if they want to. But for now, I don’t want them to show their faces. I want them to have their lives and enjoy it.

Their dad and I are already public eyes. They are children, don’t forget. They are children. They are vulnerable so you have to just keep them away, keep them safe.

Let them go to school, let them enjoy their lives without “Ah!” that’s Jenifa’s son. That’s JJC’s son. Ah see his leg, see his face” leave them private!.”
