Adeyemi Joseph Adeosun, also known as ‘YEMISAX,’ a.k.a. “Nigerian Sax King,” or AFRICA’S SAX ORACLE, is one of Nigeria’s top international saxophonists, with dexterity that may be likened to the likes of Kenny G, Kirk Whalum, Dave Koz, Gerald Albright, Najee, and others.

Because of his ability to combine hip-hop, jazz, and African rhythm, he is known in Nigeria as the “Father of Afro-hip-jazz.” His beautiful smooth jazz saxophone renditions of popular local and international melodies have made him famous. He is the Chief Executive Officer of the Yemisax Entertainment Empire in Nigeria, as well as a United Nations Youth Ambassador for World Peace.

Yemisax was born in the city of Lagos, Nigeria, in the year 1981, into the royal family of ‘ADEOSUN’ from Erin-Ijesha, Osun state. He is the youngest of his mother’s four children.

His mother is a school proprietress who also happens to be a fantastic soprano vocalist.Prince S.A ADEOSUN, his late father, was a retired banker who spent 25 years with Bank of America and Savannah Bank. His father was a church organist, gospel musician, and composer who was the first man to release Gospel music in Nigeria, leading the Christ Apostolic Church Alagomeji yaba Lagos Nigeria choir.
