Ghanaian rapper Kofi Mole packs real punch into “4 Da Poppin (Album),” a tight four-track EP that skips filler entirely.
That’s the whole appeal here, honestly. Rather than stretching things out unnecessarily, “Kofi Mole 4 Da Poppin” delivers exactly four songs that each pull their weight. Opener “Balloteli (Supa)” puts Kofi Mole fully in the spotlight solo, setting a confident, energetic tone before any features show up. His sharp flows and street-inspired lyricism carry the track on their own.
“Trapper Sem” brings in Kuami Eugene next, blending Kofi Mole’s rap style with Kuami Eugene’s more melodic sensibility. That combination works well enough that it became the lead single ahead of the EP’s release. Sefa steps in on “Asew” afterward, adding yet another texture, her vocals complementing his energy without either side pulling too hard in one direction. Quamina Mp closes things out on “Wayedew,” reuniting two artists who’ve already proven their chemistry on previous collaborations.
Since breaking through with “Mensah,” Kofi Mole has built a reputation on exactly this kind of versatility. Four songs, three different collaborators, one consistent energy throughout the whole project.
