Nigerian Afrobeats star Asake has finally released his long-awaited album “M$ney,” and the project is already topping major streaming platforms.
Asake didn’t come to play with this one. The singer delivered an 13-track project that shows a different level of growth and sound exploration.
From start to finish, the album carries a mix of gratitude, reflection, and energy. Tracks like “Amen,” “Forgiveness,” and “Gratitude” highlight a deeper side of the artist, while still maintaining his signature vibe.
What really shines through is his versatility. Asake mixes Afrobeats with Amapiano elements, giving a sound that’s simultaneously recognizable and innovative.
The album only has three guest appearances, with DJ Snake, Kabza De Small, and Taikola making cameos on some tracks. Asake is on the bulk of the project, though, and shows his confidence in his craft.
Production on the album is clean and well-arranged, with strong instrumentals matching his vocal delivery. Everything sounds intentional – no be small work.
As it is now, Nigerians have fully embraced the project. Fans are already picking their favorite tracks and pushing the album across streaming platforms, showing once again how strong Asake’s fanbase is.
