American singer, John Legend and wife, Chrissy Teigen expecting a baby months after pregnancy loss

American singer and songwriter, John Legend and his model girlfriend cum TV personality, Chrissy Teigen, are expecting their fourth child together.

Teigen revealed that she had been keeping the news to herself based on her experience with her immediate past pregnancy.

The model suffered the miscarriage of her third child named Jack, in September 2020.

In a heart-wrenching and controversial Instagram post, Teigen had given details of how the couple lost the pregnancy.

Diagnosed with partial placenta abruption, she was admitted to the hospital after persistent bleeding, and given multiple blood transfusions which unfortunately did not save the baby.

On Wednesday, the mother of three took to her Instagram page to share adorable pictures of her baby bump and bruises of In Vitro Fertilisation injections on her leg.

In the caption, she wrote:

“The last few years have been a blur of emotions, to say the least, but joy has filled our home and hearts again.

One billion shots later (in the leg lately, as you can see!) we have another on the way.

Every appointment I’ve said to myself, ‘ok if it’s healthy today I’ll announce’ but then I breathe a sigh of relief to hear a heartbeat and decide I’m just too nervous still.

I don’t think I’ll ever walk out of an appointment with more excitement than nerves but so far, everything is perfect and beautiful and I’m feeling hopeful and amazing. Ok phew, it’s been very hard keeping this in for so long!”
