South African Maskandi artist Bhuti wekhasethe delivers his brand-new eight-track album titled “Gezani Niyangiziba?”

The project covers everyday life, relationships, and the realities that shape ordinary people. Bhuti wekhasethe uses sincere performances and rhythmic composition throughout to carry that storytelling. So the album never feels detached from real experience, even when the arrangements stay simple.

Two solo cuts anchor the emotional core here. “Uthando lwethu” and “Lempilo yami” both let Bhuti carry full weight alone, without a featured voice sharing the load. That contrast matters because much of the rest of the album leans on a fairly consistent circle of collaborators instead.

Siyanda Tshabalala appears twice across the tracklist, first on “Ungangijikeli” and again on “Ngikhulule” alongside Shenge wasehlalankosi. That kind of recurring partnership shows real trust built across more than one session, rather than a scattered guest list assembled for streaming numbers.

The title track itself poses a direct question in Zulu and sits at track four, anchoring the project’s emotional center. Closer “Ngiyajola phela” then wraps everything up with the same groove that runs through the full body of work.
