Shalliepopi, unlike other artists, has been able to rapidly make a name for himself in the Nigerian music industry ever since he released the remixed “Elon Musk’ song.

Featuring high-profile artists like Zlatan and Fireboy Dml, a lot of thrilling fans have been purely fascinated by his creativity in producing his songs.

Popularly known as Shallipopi, the singer’s real name is ‘Crown Uzama.’ The Nigerian artist hails from Benin City, Edo state in Nigeria. He lived most of his early years in Benin City and grew up there.

Currently signed to an Afrobeat-focused record label, Dvpper Music Record Label. He proceeded to release songs like:

He is currently thriving in his musical career as he is set to collaborate with Asake and Wizkid on a New hit titled “Unknown” while he dropped a banger titled “Planet Pluto” (features six songs) on July 10th, 2023. 

There are possible connections between him and another popular music artist as he collaborates with the 30BG Boss Davido, producing a song titled “Plutomania” together.

He has also featured in some Ads like the Guardian and Pulse Nigeria. He’s been able to rock the Lagos International Jazz Fest stage and also performed at the Headies Awards festival.

4. Shallipopi is Really an Ex-convict

Although Shallipopi excelled in his music career as he gradually took the ladder to success one step at a time, the multi-talented star was soon shoved at the edge when he got arrested alongside five others by the EFCC (Economic and Financial Crimes Commission) in June 23rd, 2023 for money laundering. 

However, he was sentenced to 2 years in prison after being pronounced guilty by the court of law. Despite the fact that he is serving jail terms, the singer thrives with the “Ex-Convict” song regardless.
