South African hip-hop star Nadia Nakai teams up with Amapiano heavyweight Toss on a joint six-track EP titled “Do’s & Don’ts.”

The project traces directly back to a single moment. On Valentine’s Day 2026, Nadia Nakai appeared in Toss’s music video for “Uyang’hlanyisa,” and the visual ended with the two sharing a kiss.

That clip alone was enough to spark months of public speculation, and rather than address it through interviews, the pair chose to let the music answer the questions instead. As Toss put it plainly, “the music will confirm everything.”

That approach shapes the entire EP. Built around two people falling for each other despite coming from completely different worlds, “Do’s & Don’ts” merges Toss’s perspective from the hood with Nadia’s suburban upbringing, spreading across Amapiano, Afropop, and 3-step rather than settling into straight hip-hop.

Because Nadia is known for her commanding rap background, the softer, more genre-blended direction here works against typical expectations for either artist.

The six tracks pull in Nkosazana Daughter on “Blind!”, Sino Msolo on “Choose Me,” and both Sino Msolo and Sizwe Alakine together on “Chomi.” Production credits spread across 808x, Hopemasta, Lee Global, and Gobi Beast.
