Nigerian street-pop star Seyi Vibez pulls “Melanin” from “SWAGUU,” a fourteen-track album that follows an already busy 2026 for the Vibez Inc frontman.
Sitting as the fourth track, right after “VOLUME,” “GTA,” and “DIAMONDS,” “Seyi Vibez Melanin” continues an album sequence built for momentum rather than a slow build.
Seyi Vibez has spent the past few years building one of Nigeria’s most consistent street-pop catalogues, from his debut “Billion Dollar Baby” through “Thy Kingdom Come,” which brought in Phyno and South Africa’s Ami Faku. That range across genres, apala, sakara, fuji, amapiano, has become something of a signature for him, and “Melanin” continues showing off that same willingness to blend different textures rather than sticking to one lane.
Coming right on the heels of “Back 2 U” in August, this release keeps Seyi Vibez’s 2026 output moving at a genuinely rapid pace. For an artist this prolific, “Melanin” adds another layer to an already dense year of new material.
